Your employees value their wellbeing. In fact, 74% of employees say it’s more important to them than advancing their careers.
When you prioritise employee wellbeing, you’ll:
- Increase engagement and productivity
- Create a more positive work culture
- Reduce sickness and absence
- Improve morale and loyalty
- Increase your profits.
And when you invest in the mental wellbeing of your employees, you’re also more likely to attract and retain the best talent.
A wellbeing workshop is proactive
Whilst I focus on a proactive approach to looking after wellbeing on all my courses, well over half deal with poor mental health and how to support it. My wellbeing workshops are different.
They focus on psychoeducation from a proactive perspective taking care of your employees’ mental wellbeing and can be delivered in 1-hour units or several units over half a day, or a full-day.
In every session, your delegates will take away at least two positive skills they can use to support themselves.
With wellbeing workshops, you can target your entire workforce. Giving them the self-awareness and skills, they need will encourage them to take responsibility for their own wellbeing and keep themselves healthy.
And a healthier workforce makes for a healthier business.
Wellbeing workshop FAQs
What is the purpose of a wellbeing workshop?
Wellbeing workshops cover a variety of topics relating to mental health and wellbeing. The aim is to improve your delegates’ awareness and self-awareness so they can be more proactive about taking care of their own wellbeing.
What is the format of a wellbeing workshop?
The format of the wellbeing workshop can vary according to the content and purpose. But, typically, it’s a 1 to 4 hour workshop, which can either be held online or in person.
The workshop usually begins with a talk, accompanied by a slide presentation. This is followed by some small breakouts where delegates can discuss the topics raised.
Can the workshop be tailored for my organisation?
Yes. I can tailor the content and format of the wellbeing workshop to address your specific needs.
For example, I ran workshops for an organisation that was going through a merger. I devised different types of workshops for the managers and their teams to help them deal with the situation itself and the stress it was causing them.
Can a wellbeing workshop follow up my MHFA training?
Yes. I run bespoke workshops specifically for organisations where I’ve already delivered MHFA training. These three-hour workshops feature practical exercises that allow delegates to practice the skills they learnt on the course.
